When looking for vacation rentals or to buy property here in the Riviera Maya, we all have certain criteria we use to determine the best location for our vacation or second home. People have different likes; some are looking for the exciting nightlife of Playa del Carmen; maybe a more natural setting like Tulum, while others are looking for some place quiet and secluded. And maybe you are looking for a little bit of all three of those things – nightlife, nature and quiet.

A relaxing place!

An area of the Riviera Maya that I was just recently introduced to is Playa Paraiso, featuring beautiful properties for sale or rent. The best part about Playa Paraiso is that it is a very peaceful area, with the white sand beaches and lush tropical vegetation you expect to find in the Mexican Caribbean AND it’s close to Playa del Carmen, so you really have the best of both worlds.

I immediately fell in love with this quaint area and these condos. The top floor units feature rooftop terraces that have so much potential – you can take the space and make it your own by adding a Jacuzzi or maybe a palapa, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the area.

Playa Paraiso, near everything!

Located just 25 minutes from the Cancun International Airport and 15 minutes north of Playa del Carmen, I recently visited some great condos in gated community of Playa Paraiso. The Acacia complex features condos for sale in the Riviera Maya and is located just 5 minutes from the beach.

There are a few resorts in the Playa Paraiso area that offer amenities you can take advantage of even if you are not a guest; the Iberostar Playa Paraiso has a beautiful 18 hole golf course that is perfect for golf lovers and also offers day passes, ranging in prices from $35 USD (Adult – evening pass) to $75 USD (Adult-all day pass). You can also find a tennis court, scuba diving shops, and restaurants located within the resorts.
