If you’ve purchased real estate in Playa del Carmen or other parts of the Riviera Maya you might be looking to set up your new place with TV or Internet services.  If you are using your new condo or villa as a rental property, having satellite TV and internet for your guests is something you may want to consider, to make your place a more attractive option to those that are searching for condos to rent in Playa del Carmen. Here are a few options to choose from, based on your needs, how many channels you want and if you are considering a bundled package of services.

Cablemas

If you own property in Playa del Carmen or Tulum, Cablemas offers cable television, internet and phone lines, and bundling can save you money if you decide to get more than one of these services. The most basic package of cable plus internet gives you 40 channels and internet speed of 6 mbps for a cost of $360 pesos a month.

Sky TV

Sky is a good option for those that own property south of Playa del Carmen in areas like Puerto Aventuras or Akumal. Sky doesn’t have internet and phone like Cablemas but their cheapest package is only $169 pesos a month for 48 of the most watched channels in Mexico; movie channels, Fox, Sony, and more.

Dish Network

Just like Sky TV, Dish only offers TV, no internet or phone service is available. And you’ll need to install a satellite Dish on your roof. The cheapest package is $119 pesos a month, plus an installation fee of $199 pesos.
